The GreenTwins Co-Funded by EU

Exciting news! BPT and our research partner Hafnium Labs (thermodynamic domain experts located in Copenhagen) are in the final stage of successfully completing the development program for our GreenTwins digital simulator technology, which was awarded funding from the European Union (EU) two years ago.

"Our decision to extend our extensive oil & gas experience into the more sustainable energy arena has been a success. The new digital solutions have already been utilized in many projects, providing commercial success and a testament to our strategy", reconfirms the BPT CEO. "An excellent integrated team effort by Hafnium Labs and BPT researchers and experts - Thanks for your dedication and open collaboration."

The results of the R&D program exceed all objectives and will be completed on schedule and within budget. Our simulator unit operations and thermodynamics have been tested extensively and validated for accuracy, robustness, and speed in dynamic scenarios. We've developed new and enhanced simulator unit operations for a variety of electrolysis and reactors, and implemented new thermodynamics crucial to many green energy systems, including green hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol, sustainable synthetic fuels (e-fuels), CCS, direct air capture, and concentrated solar power.
